Telemedicine Services
Remote consultation allows a patient to speak with a clinician without travelling to Ituku-Ozalla. This page will hold the hospital's confirmed telemedicine arrangements.
Remote consultation at UNTH
Telemedicine is used in Nigerian teaching hospitals for follow-up review, specialist advice between clinicians, and consultation for patients who face long journeys. Where it is available, it complements rather than replaces face-to-face assessment: physical examination, imaging and laboratory investigation still require attendance at the hospital.
Awaiting UNTH confirmation
The eligible clinics, booking route, platform, consultation fees and clinician availability for telemedicine at UNTH have not yet been confirmed for publication. This page will be completed once the hospital provides the official details.
In the meantime
You can send an appointment request and note in the reason field that you would prefer a remote consultation. Staff will advise whether that is possible for the service you need.
