More than 700 beds across adult, paediatric, specialist, high-dependency and intensive care wards, each under named consultant care.
Admitted patients are cared for by a multidisciplinary team led by a consultant, supported by resident doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dietitians and medical social workers. Daily ward rounds review progress, and treatment plans are explained to patients and their relatives.
Every ward operates infection prevention protocols, medication safety checks and documented handover between shifts. Patients and relatives may raise concerns with the ward manager at any time.
